Default W7 / Intel SSD - Slow Web Surfing - Posting

Hey all,
Still sorting through bugs since installing W7 on my new SSD.

Seems I get a lot of "hanging" when surfing the Net, particularly when Posting in Forums. Although I periodically got this particular "hang" with vista 64, its seems a lot more consisten now, the www1.goto.media yada yada yada.

Kind of frustrating really.

I have updated my Network Adapter Drivers (Realtec PCIe GBE Family Controller) to 7.6.820.2009 - Aug 20 2009 and tried a power down and up of my Router....any suggestions...something I'm missing in W7?
Running AVG 9.0.698 (latest) Anti Virus

That's the internet hanging, not your hardware/software/connection. Nothing chaps my ass faster than having a goddam advertisement lock up a page load. I get those goto.media hangs lots too. try pinging that server, you'll see dropped packets and high ping.the frikin aholes should update thier bandwidth. And places like HWC should drop them as an add source until they do.

I am running ssd's on my 2 home and my one work computer(intell x-25m) and have no problems with surfing.

It's definitely not your ssd, ssd's fly through small random files.

NoScript - JavaScript/Java/Flash blocker for a safer Firefox experience! - what is it? - InformAction
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

One is a java blocker and the other is an ad blocker. noscript is very annoying though as you'll have to enable it on most of the sites you go to. Very good on p0rn sites though

I've been having a similar problem on my laptop since I updated AVG acouple days ago but my other computers without AVG seem fine. I'm ditching AVG.
