Default Shortcuts are borken
My sister's desktop (XP Home) had her browser hijacked (FF), and I got that fixed (I think), but all her desktop shortcuts no longer work. If I make new ones, the same thing occurs. This applies to the entire machine, actually, and not just the desktop. Even the "start" button does not respond. Right-clicking them, and selecting "open" works.

I ran into this once years ago, and I can't remember the fix I found. Any thoughts?
