Firefox 3.5 - The web is fast again. Well I just installed FF 3.5 on my Mac and hallelujah she is a speedy browser! I know my biggest complaint with FF3 was it's speed so I am a happy camper. FF 3.5 is also sporting some new features that you can read up on at Mozilla. I will upgrade my PC at home tonight... I hope the performance increase is just as noticeable there. |
I am doing that as we speak and will give feedback on its performance after i install it and after i finish watching weeds |
Hhhmmm - Well I like it a lot better than FF3.0 We will see how it does with the memory leaking issue. For now though, I'm sticking with my chrome. |
Argh. One of my favorite addons is incompatible. I hope there is an update soon. |
Well its installed and i don't notice a difference really on my rig. Luckily the only add-on i use works so hurray and hopefully yours gets patched soon thenewguy001 |
Holy crap most of my add-ons were not compatible, as was my theme. Slimsearch not working is strange, as it has never had a compatibility issue when upgrading in the past. |
Huh ? Nobody using Internet Explorer anymore ? ;-P |
3.5 is great |

Other than the various extension issues, no real problems so far. I would wait a few more days or even a week or two before updating if you have many extensions or themes you like. Perhaps I can see if my extensions will run anyways... |
Got my Slimsearch add-on to install using "Nightly Tester Tools" add-on. Allows you to override incompatibility issues. Seems to be working fine now and FF 3.5 seems OK too with Slimsearch enabled. |
