Do ads REALLY bug people THAT much? Yeesh, you'd think that ads gave you a disease the way people hate/block them.

I feel the same.

I never bother to block them unless they are causing issues, it seems like its more effort to block them then it is to simply ignore them. They don't bother me really, and every once in a while something comes up that interests me.

I am Internet Explorer's whore...I use it exclusively and really don't feel at home anywhere else.

Depends on the site... go to collegehumor.com and tell me you can ignore the ads?

I used to feel the same way... till I started blocking ads.. now my life has changed for the better

Flash ones bother me. constant motion, sound in some cases. some are incredibly long and automatically start streaming video, wasting my bandwidth and computer's resources. Yes, I did just bring up wasting resources on an x4 9950(mine is mine dammit). It is more of a problem on my netbook though. I just use noscript on that.

No problems with ads, but there have been cases where the ad has a strange bug or two causing cpu usage to skyrocket...

Just installed, seems faster on some sites. Edited the (about:config) file to force some of my addons to work , so far so good.
