And Sky is right to be angry with ATi's driver team (Terry Makedon) in particular.
I just love how they go on the merry-go-round with 'fixes' that break other things. With ATi I can always count on them to release a driver that boosts future mark results. I avoid those like the plague they are because that usually translates to bugs/slowdowns in games.
I also appreciate their fixing of my X1950 Pro CF in which they recently all but dropped support for. Nice.
If you want a good gauge of ATi's driver performance tweaktown has a nice running tally. Most of their released drivers prove to be placebo at best. At least where performance was concerned.
