Default ftp to Hard drive
Hi , I have windows XP, with service pack 2, and IE explorer 7. I have installed a network hard drive, with ftp. I am able to access my drive from work . but with my desktop with the same setup as my laptop, i am unable to access the drive with Internet Explorer 7, but if I use Firefox browser, I able to access the drive . Are there any settings in explorer i can set to use it as I am unable to write to the drive using firefox. The computer at work has IE 6 on it.

The FTP drive is at work i assume then? Its probably because windows uses PASV mode and you need to use ACTIVE mode. Try Filezilla and disable PASV mode. Should work fine.
