Whats Chrome like and Silver (microsoft whatever), is it worth switching to chrome from firefox/ie8

Silver is a flash replacement that failed.

IE 8 sucks as does every other IE released.

Chrome? Well if you feel like being a guinea pig for Googles data mining services go right ahead.

But I've never had any issues with Firefox ever.

If you hate worrying about bookmarks be the plugin X-Marks (used to be called foxmarks). Sign up for an account and it will backups you bookmarks (and passwords if you want) to their remote site. This allows you to download your bookmarks on any computer that you install X-Marks on. Great tool for backup up and also having multiple computers up to date with all your bookmarks. Great tool.
