My laptop has 2 patitions on vista. I want to install win7 x64 on the second partition (32 bit vista business is on first partition). An error occured that says I have MBR partition table, and that I need EFI system with GPT. How do I make the second partition into EFI/GPT, without destroying data that is already there? TIA.

You can't. Its like the old FAT32 to NTFS, you just cant switch a file system from one to another. The only thing you can do is back up your data to a 2nd drive, and copy it back over afterwords.

OK, this has probably been asked before, but I've been wading through 3 long threads and I still can't find what to do with an unsigned driver (rivatunerX64).. I know about the F8 at bootup but I'm not into doing that everytime.
Is there a new thread for troubleshooting the RC1 that I missed?

There are a few options, none of which are ideal but they sometimes work for some people.

WARNING: Try these at your own risk! :rtfm:
I do not support the following:

One option if you want to be able to use the driver all the time without having to
use f8 on every reboot then run this command at an elevated command prompt
Bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING ON

Another one you can try is :
bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
(some people loose the ability to play Blu-Ray/HD-DVDs at full res).

This will turn Intergrity Checks back on:
bcdedit -deletevalue loadoptions

Or you could use ReadyDriver Plus 1.1: Citadel Industries - ReadyDriver Plus

Good luck!

I used the readydriver+ for a while, but got tired of the bootup screens so I uninstalled it... For some reason I'm still running in test mode without the bootup screens, wierd eh?

I have Crysis running without issue on 7X64 using the same batch file to turn off Areo that I used with Vista.
