Default Quickest AVI to DVD + Burning software?

The title says it all.

I am looking for the best avi to dvd converting software. I would like one that does it all, (convert and burn).

Let me know what you find the best and quickest program...

I have tried a few, and I have also noticed on a few that I get audio lag, and after about 5 minutes of watching the movie, it gets unbearable because the audio is so out of sync. I cannot watch a movie, when their mouth dont move when the audio is being played.

Anyways, let me know your opinions, and what you use!

I used convertxtodvd and encoded/burned a 2 hour avi in 16 minutes. Not bad I'd say.

ConvertXtoDVD is the best I've ever used. Does a pretty good job fairly quickly (depends on your machine's performance) and best of all, it's really easy to use ... essentially, one click and your done.

+1 to convertxtoDVD works great, its fast, does an awesome job of syncing sound and the newer version have some decent built in menus. Deffinetly the best program I have used to date.

And it only gets faster if you have a quad-core since it's multithreaded
