Default wipe put everything and can still install recovery disc?

say i have acer prebuild computer. it comes with recovery disc. then upgrade to 64bit vista from 32bit while wiping everything and i mean everything.. i think its called clean install.

can i still use the recovery disc and revert everything to factory setting and have the 32bit back?

in theory yes you can ... your recovery discs will format your hard drive before installing the factory OS with the factory settings

There is a hidden recovery partition on your disk, don't delete it when you install x64. Just format the c: drive.

you cannot upgrade 32-bit to 64bit, or even install 64-bit from 32-bit OS.

but yes, you could go back to the "stock" OS with the recovery disks.

You take that 64-bit "upgrade disk", install from botting the disk, install home basic, and then upgrade to home premium, if you have to(upgrade keys require installation form another OS, but Vista doesn't require a key on isntall, so install first time withotu entering a key, then on upgrade to home premium, enter your key).

now im thinking to have vista 32bit back.... and i have a oem recovery disc.... can i use that and make everything as is? including having vista 32bit back?

If you wiped the hidden partition, you'll have to do a full install from a Vista X86 disc and use the number off the bottom of your laptop, Your ability to "recover" is gone.
