Default windows home server and sata controller.........
does anyie here know if windows home server will tolerate a promise sata conroller.

i have reached the limit for sata connectore and want to installe those 2 western digital black 1tb drives i bought.

thx for any info

I would go with the green drives in a WHS but that is my personal opinion :P

I had a Adaptec sata controller in mine (Silicone Image chip) and it worked fine. I would imagine a Promise controller would work fine since the drivers are all native.
