I honestly can't remember the last time I've had a virus, but knowing my luck, the moment I stopped using one, my computer would be infested with the stuff. So my good old NOD32 protects my dirty, dirty valuables.

Plus grabbing it when it's on sale at NCIX makes it dirt cheap :D

Well, I decided not to install any AV when I went back to Vista. Too much of a PITA

I use Avast. Free and works well for me. Windows Firewall and router firewall. I have also used Kaspersky and really liked it but dropped it on one of my rigs after the license expired recently.

I only run AV on autopsy.

Otherwise it's just a border firewall.

those are good although I haven't ran kaspersky since it isn't free but they are good I like anti vir because it uses little resources and not so many false positives like AVG and other antivirus programs out there. I don't use spybot search and destroy any more because it seems to mess up my system, but I do use the older version of and just go to the website to update the definitions it works great. oh and I also use peerguardian2 and hosts manager so I can get rid of allot of Advertisements on web pages. and of course I use a router and the stock winxp firewall with xp firewall commander. and I only turn on antivir antivirus when I have to scan a file I have downloaded or I am doing a full scan other then that my AV is always off

AVG 7.5 works well with Vista and Folding, small footprint and fast updates. Tried v8.0, hated it...

No anti-virus running on my PCs... I just use Vista Ultimate's Complete PC Backup (built in disk imaging feature) to do incremental images every 2 weeks or so. I use an external eSATA drives for my images.
