Distrowatch is where I first started looking for different distros.

It's a great place to see what's out and new, but I find it doesn't lead a complete newbie by the hand to find an easy install.

I like how the link mentions BSD. BSD is probably one of the most aggravating OSs to try and get running! And keep running haha.
