Post Windows Vista Black-Eternity 2009 SP1 x64

Anyone used this? I am going to backup everything, and then install it from scratch. From what I have read, it seems solid.

Thanks :-)

Why would you?

Those things are just begging to be full of holes.

I only trust 2 types of OS'es.

The ones I think out, the one with penguins or the ones made by Bill Gates.

Not trustworthy.

One should only trust a md5 hash checked MSDN build iso direct from Microsoft/MSDN/Academic MSDN or retail DVD, and/or personal custom builds devired from them, period.

Besides most of these "custom builds" are designed with piracy in mind.

Basically all that guy did was throw in all the updates, put a "new theme" (ugly IMO), added a bunch of gadgets and probably a whole wack of programs too.

I highly doubt it's going to run any better than an up-to-date Vista x64 SP1 install from legitimate sources.

And yeah, this is definitely pirated software, so you're taking your chances with it.

Ive used these types of builds before, for xp not vista. Some are decent but not nearly as great as they claim. Stick with the original os and tweak it yourself using a tweaking guide then make a drive snapshot and save it to dvds. Or create your own install with Vlite.

I've used some XP ones too and some were done really well and others suck (since the person who tweaked it screwed it up), but really it depends on what you like. It is nice having things already tweaked for you in some cases.
