Default Artifacts in Company of Heroes and Crysis

Hey everyone,

While playing Crysis and Company of Heroes I noticed a certain amount of artifacts appearing on screen. While not enough to significantly disrupt game play, it's still annoying considering my system is good enough to handle these games. I don't think the problem is drivers, so could the problem be caused by the games not being patched to the most recent version?

If you are overclocking your GPU try resetting it back to stock. If the problem stops then it was to high of an overclock. If the problem doesn't go away then try downclocking. If it goes away when you downclock then you need to RMA the GPU. If not then there might be another problem or it could still be your GPU. Hopefully it is just a bad driver. Also what are your temps.

If your overclocking anything, set it to default. Could be memory, or the memory controller, on the card or the CPU! Don't wanna blow that up!

Could be software, drivers, Directx, etc., little stuff.
Report back and let everyone know what's going on after you hit the default button.

Well a lot of times artifacting is because of either too high of an overclock or to high of a temperature.

My guess is temps too high or bad memory on the GPU.

Well, I'm using a Antec 900 case, so i doubt that I cooling is the problem. And nothing is overclocked, so it can't be that. I was forced to use a VGA cable for my monitor; could the conversion between the VGA and DVI be causing them?
