Default Pirates release fully cracked Vista install

We don't condoan piracy- just posting some news

A widely available release, located at the usual pirate havens, from a scene group entitled 'NoPE' (which doesn't appear to have released much else) has quickly become the most highly sought-after asset of eye-patched, peg-legged, shoulder-mounted-parrot pirate types. Vista has been leaked in every conceivable form and in all its various releases and flavours, but has still remained difficult to crack for the average swashbuckling black-beard.

Not really surprised. Rumor has it they haven't attacked the 64-bit edition yet.

Maybe I'm thinking outside of the box here, but wouldn't MS be better served if they offered a time limited full download of the current version of Vista?

Most folks in the know either tried the beta or know somebody who did, and have no interest in running it based on that experience.

I wonder how many folks who are waiting for SP1 would consider trying it again now that the beta kinks are getting ironed out.

I ran RTM with the timecrack and it was perfectly fine. I ditched Vista cause I was having issues with it and Maya 8, possibly due to video drivers, but Vista in itself is just ugly to me and I hate navigatingit.

But I give these guys credits because when Bill Gates says his products aren't crackable someone shoves that in his face; karmas a bitch.

MS really doesn't care about the small amount of people that build their own PC's. The OEM's are the ones M$ cares about and they are selling plenty of copies of Vista to make M$ smile.

They may be starting to see the cracks in the ice beneath their feet now that Dell is back to offering XP as a choice for new rigs.......

Dell is offering XP because all the major companies are refusing to go to Vista because of all the flaws. If you look closely, all the deals for Dell machines for home/small business cost more with XP than with Vista. You can't get the best deals with new machines with Vista. Government and corporations are afraid of Vista and the nightmare of switching thousands of PC's to a new OS overnight. To the regular Joe's, Vista is still getting firmly jammed up their asses.
