My System Specs

Default Syncronize between XP / NAS / Vista?

Looking for some tips.....

My BIL has a NAS attached to his router, as well as an XP desktop, and a Vista Laptop.

He wants me to set it up so that he can work with certain documents (let's say a weekly work schedule for example) from either computer and have the latest version of that document both saved to the NAS, as well as being automatically sync'd to both computers.

I've never needed to bother with syncing files, and don't know atm if his NAS came with any software to make the process easier but I'm wondering if I'll need any form of third party software, or if the sync function of XP & Vista will be sufficient.

Any suggestions / hints would be appreciated.

Thanks
