Default New build status update

My parts finally arrived yesterday after a grueling 8 day wait. I ended up choosing NCIX, and I am not disappointed. Everything came in with the shipment, and the UPS guy didn't drop any of the boxes.

I spent 4-5 hours yesterday building my new PC. I took my time making it, I really didn't want to rush anything. I am pleased to announce that my new build is complete. Everything is up and running; it POSTed and everything after the first boot. I installed Vista flawlessly (though it took forever to install), and updated all the drivers.

I'm actually quite surprised that I had no trouble whatsoever with building this PC. In fact, it was really easy, even though this was my first time building.

I will be doing some system tests and taking some pictures within the next few days.

Just wanted to thank you all again for your help and support.

Ok so I ran some benchmarks using 3dMark06 and 3DMark Vantage. Here are the scores.

3D Vantage:
P8817
GPU score: 8281
CPU Score: 10941

3DMark06:
SM2.0 Score: 5396
HDR/SM3.0 Score: 6315
CPU Score: 3978
Overall: 13761

All tests were done at the default 1280x1024, no AA. I plan on installing crysis and seeing what kind of fps that will give me. What do you guys think?

That's all you get in 06? My rig gets about 14,9k... although that's at 4GHz... but your 45nm quad should get a better score at stock shouldn't it?...
