Default Therman paste needed?

Hey I've received most of my parts (still waiting for the Redline).

I bought the OCZ Vendetta 2 to cool my E8400.

The following question will undoubtedly reveal my lack of knowledge about cooling stuff, but do I need to buy any thermal paste? Or does it come with the CPU?

Some stuff comes with an aftermarket HSF usually, but grabbing a $7 tube of something quality is the best way to go :)

Using price match it adds up to about $1150.

I won't overclock in the short term but I'll add a second 4850 in CF when price drops.

What do you think?

I also need a set of good and cheap speakers (2.1 or 5.1?) max 50-70$, any thoughts?

With that board you wont be taking full advantage of CF, you will need a X38 or X48 board. Asus, Gigabyte and DFI make some really good boards.

As for the speakers these are a great choice for under $100.
NCIX.com - Buy Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System Black 70W RMS W/ FDD2 & Wired Remote - 970223-0403 In Canada.

For the case look into the antec 900 or 1200. The 4850 runs hot and you need a good case with good airflow.

The HX620W is a great PSU, If your adding an other card for CF take a look at the TX750W PSU.

For thermal paste I like TX-2 gave me 3-5c degree better then AS5 and MX-2.

hope that helps :)

My System Specs

MX-2 is just fine, just like AS5.
The HX620W can handle 2 HD4850s like a big boy. Don't worry.

John don't forget MX-2 has no curing time unline AS-5's 200 hours.
