4600+ is on sale for $63.99 right now, combo that with the ASUS M2A-VM motherboard, also on sale for $63.99 there is your proc + mobo for $128.

I have used these motherboards in quite a few builds for friends. They seem to work great.

Thanks for all the suggestions, 2 questions though...

I don't see a large diff between these two mobo's, should i just go with the Asus, or is there a reason to go Gigabyte

ASUS M2A-VM mATX - 63.99

NCIX.com - Buy ASUS M2A-VM mATX AM2 AMD 690G DDR2 PCI-E16 PCI-E1 2PCI Video VGA DVI-D Sound Motherboard - M2A-VM In Canada.

GA-MA78G-DS3H - 100.99
NCIX.com - Buy Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H AMD780G ATX AM2+ 2PCI-E SATA RAID Sound GLAN 1394 CrossFireX HDMI Motherboard - GA-MA78G-DS3H In Canada.
Also with the processors, I was suggested the 4600, but the 5200 is only 20 more, is it worth the jump?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600 - 63.99

I would say go with the GA-MA78G-DS3H as it is on the 780G chipset, which i`ve heard is great for budget builds, however it cost quite a bit more in comparison to the M2A-VM, however i believe Asus`s 780G solution is cheaper, but they cut down on some features such as e sata and optical connection.
In the end all comes down to budget.

As for CPU, not sure here lol.

The 780G has HD3200 and the 690G is only X1250. So you get much more graphical power with the 780G along with Hybrid Crossfire should you ever add in another ATI video card.

I'd get the fastest X2 you can afford. No harm in having extra speed. The 5200+ is also 65nm so it might run a bit cooler/use less energy but I can't remember if it actually does or not.

Thanks All,

I think I'll go with the GA-MA78G-DS3H and the 5200
