why not use se16 640? its will be very good option than 250gb for 80cdn

if you are interesting in 9800gx2 for 289.99 OR

if you find a good deal for 4870 (visiontek is much better) then i highly recommend you to buy it...

ps. ncix.com ;p

pps. i suspect without tax

Then tell him to buy his own computer.

If he's not willing to listen to sound advice from a friend.. he's not much of a friend.

Haha harsh.

What's up with that mobo choice? Why doesn't he get a nice P45 or other Intel chipset. I mean why get a board with integrated graphics if he plans on getting a GTX 260...

I definitely wouldn't use that mobo, with a Quad or otherwise.

I second the 4870 card. Same price, and a pretty definite edge over the GTX260 across the board. Ditto for the HX620 PSU. And the motherboard... why?

If doesn't like the advice in this thread, tell him to give some reasons WHY. If he was getting some of these parts for free, that'd be one thing. But pretty much every suggestion here comes with definite reasons behind it.
