I would still recommend a CM690 over the 300 though. You can manage your cables better in the CM690 better and therefore I think it is worth the extra cash. |
i understood that CM690 is almost excellent... only i dislike is button at side postion and some external plugs at top postion...
when i bought TOO many parts so i have to reduce price of cases because i consider case is most least important but i still have want good air flow case... but can upgrade in the future...
in a month ago... i missed a huge deal ( 40cdn, etc)
i choose antec 300 over 900 because of looks and non air ducted collection case.
and i am waiting for good deal of cm 690... guess its not happen in NCIX soon...
about thermalright... yes langley... for more specific... i thought new true is more flat than previous model's flat problem?
used for 45... hmmm not bad... i will pm you for more detail...

Lastly for the keyboard the G15 was too expensive for me so I settled on a logitech media keyboard(I'll probably regret it), Logitech also make te G11 which is similar but a bit cheaper. |
g11 has more g keys than g15
<< has no idea what g keys is anyway
razer krait seem too small and not suit to me... i have a huge hand and really like mx500 size and its buttons...
i must have forward and back and scroll wheel (vertical and horizontal)... i really can't live without it... well i can but not for long time...

I like the look of the razer lycosa for a keyboard, but that is because I like laptop keyboards, but otherwise the G15 is probably best. |
i checked many reviews... i dont think i like it... i really hate laptop ;p

I like the Antec 300. How often have you been in and out of that computer? And how much do you show it off or kneel and pray to it as if it was a little god*? If you are never going to be inside this thing then you should get a case that looks good from the outside.
Are you planning on OCing this stuff?
I would not bother with the Raptor unless price is not an issue. I have one and it just does not make a big difference. Sure, it benches better numbers but I do not see much of a difference in normal use. And these things are loud. If price is not an issue then go for a VelociRaptor.
If you expect to use this computer for the next six years I would definitely suggest getting the fastest equipment you can; ie the fastest processor you can afford. It costs extra but you will be getting your money out of it in the long run.
*That is a Penny-Arcade reference but I will be damned if I can find the strip. |
is that tricky question?
yes want to OC it...
what about in game, photoshop (browser, etc), or start/run the win xp?
VelociRaptor is 309cdn! i really dont need that 300gb... i wont save my personal files in primary hard drive... i thought raptor will be gooe enough... but still unreasonsable expensive (if its 90 to 130 then i will grab)
well... i am pretty happy with my 6 years old... i just can't play newest games... or watch HD, HQ episode... thats all...
for this time. i hope i will sell this computer WITHOUT 7k100 at early spring... i mean technology grows too fast ... or even cheaper...
