Default new build

What do you all think i have a powersupply and q6600. Using it mostly for gaming(cod4, AOC, CSS, TFC2) and recording music for my band. going to be using xp also. Would i have to change anything if decide to change to vista 64bit version?

Get 2x2 GB, even if you won't go x64 yet.

It's so little more $$$, & when you go to Vista x64, you'll be glad you did :)

CM690 = cheaper better case than the 900.
I never cease to be amazed at how horribly inefficiently designed Antec cases are.

Onboard sound is usually fine these days...unless you really want that X-Fi.

Everything else looks good to me.

My System Specs


I would always recommend 4 Gb of ram and at least two physical HDs of whatever size you like above 300 Gb. My personal preference for an Antec case over the 900 is the P182 - just depends what you want personally. IMHO.
