ok, thats gr8. 9800GTX+. Just a decent SLi mobo for under 200-250. Suggestions?

besides you can volt mod these cards to push them further even solderless with conductive silver paint. probably want to look into the MSI 750i they support Tri-SLI but they are expensive and only run in 8x mode however the Asus P5N-D 750i is only $145 at NCIX :)

Since when did SLI scale better? I've heard Crossfire scaled better...

For the OP, don't base your decisions off one review. Checkout reviews across various websites since each place tests slightly different. And also remember the majority of these benchmarks are done on a quad-core, normally overclocked, so your results will probably be lower.

I was looking at a bunch of reviews for Crossfire vs. SLi. Sli was the winner in most except the old games where crossfire was better.
