hah, dont worry. I have a Razer Copperhead mouse w/ A good pair of logitech headsets (mic inc.) along w/ a polished granite pad, lol and also a nostromo n52 speedpad. Try finding that in the back of a cereal box xD

The only thing I skimped on was the keyboard because of the n52 Nostromo.

The DS3L does not support SLI nor Crossfire.

I know it doesn't, I said SLI scales better. im trying to convince him to drop down to the P35 Chipset. unless hes absolutely sure he is going to drop another $200 for a 4850.

Then he should go for the GA-EP45-DS3L.

SLI is better but that is no reason to give up the 4850. of course someone is going to tell you that the drivers will mature but they have been maturing since ATI was founded lol.

it depends on the game for example the 4850 in Crossfire crushes almost everything nVidia has to offer in Half-Life 2 because the source engine is optimized for ATI.

t-break - nVidia GeForce GTX280 SLI

these benchmarks are just for the 9800GTX don't forget about the new 9800GTX+ it's a G92-420 (55nm) which gives it a small 5-10 frame leg up over the 9800GTX and consumes less heat and power and has PhysX CUDA Support.
