It easily fitted inside my Lian-Li... if the TRUE fits inside the CM690, then the IFX-14 should.

Dimensions:

TRUE: L63.44 x W132 x H160.5 mm (heatsink only)
IFX-14: L146.2 x W124 x H161 mm (heatsink only)

What's your res on the 20"? 1440x900? One 4870 would more than do the trick, you'll have awesome framerates at that resolution. So stick with your DS3L, save your money for Nehalem.
