Default GTX960 4GB FTW to wait for PASCAL, good idea?.

Hi,
I'm without GPU right now, PASCAL will be released soon, maybe 1-2 months I guess.

But now what?, I want to play jeje, the graphics of my i7-6700 is not enough.

I was thinking on this GTX960:
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB FTW GAMING ACX 2.0+, 04G-P4-3969-KR
$239.99 & FREE Shipping
Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling w/ Free Installed Backplate Graphics Card 04G-P4-3967-KR: Computers & Accessories

What do you think?.
I could buy a cheaper GTX960 but, the difference is only a few dollars more, with that graphic card I can have more FPS until PASCAL is released.

List of prices on Amazon.com
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB ACX 2.0+ GAMING, 04G-P4-3965-KR
$194.99 & FREE Shipping

grab something used if you know you will be upgrading in only a few months, so you minimize your losses. gtx 680/760/770 or hd 7970/r9 280/280X. Any of those will get you great performance for the short time you will have it. You could go to a bit cheaper used card if you wanted to save even more money, but with the obvious downside of lower performance (still night and day better than integrated).

I would say shop for a used high end gonna card like 7950/7970/280/280x. They are cheaper.

Wait till Computex in May. See what the big 2 have in store. Rumours are saying that AMD will launch the new R9 490 and R9 490x in June. Just have to wait and see.

another reason to get my hopes up of an early launch. I thought we would have them in q2, but that's looking more doubtful now.
