Default All White Everything?

Hey guys, picking out parts for a new build. I've always wanted to build an (almost) all white computer with some black accents. Not too worried about horsepower since I don't do much gaming, so the cpu and gfx card should be fine for now. Unless I find a high end gfx card that is white, then I would go for that

Case: Fractal Design Define R4
CPU: amd fx6300
Mobo: asrock 970 extreme3 (bundle deal)
HDD: 1tb seagate
PSU: fractal 650watt
GFX: 750
RAM: Kingston 8gb (it's white)

The only things I'm missing right now are the CPU cooler and PSU being white. The only white PSU I can find in stock for canada is the fractal 1000w which is overkill, and a white cpu cooler would be swell also, although I'll probably just do white fans with a black housing on a silver heatsink.

Would love some input on power supply and cooler options, or other white part ideas. The computer will have a white monitor, white headphones, white speakers, and sit on a black desk (havent decided on keyboard and mouse yet). I think it's going to look really sharp.

edit: this 700w may be better suited for your hardware, still from NZXT - http://www.ncix.com/detail/nzxt-hale...w-58-94096.htm.

As for a heatsink, what about the H220? http://www.ncix.com/detail/swiftech-...79583-1013.htm. It does fit in the R4, like this:

Awesome, didn't even see that power supply, would be a great fit and it's modular. Thanks!

Good call on the cooler as well...

Haha, tempting to get the sabertooth motherboard in that pic and see if I could paint the dust cover white.

There have been a few plasti-dip paint jobs recently, and while I'm not too sure about painting the motherboard components because of heat concerns, the IO section is fair game. :)

For the armor you can also use Krylon Fusion white for plastic. I've had good results with this on the outside of an Arc Mini R2 case. It seems fairly durable once it cures for a few days too. The advantage over Plasti-Dip is it's not as much of an insulator, and doesn't require a number of coats like Plasti-Dip does. Though for the armor, it doesn't matter if it gets insulated, as it functions more as an air guide/air concentrator over the motherboard's non-heatsink covered components.

For PSU there are the Fractal ones, the NZXT ones and the Silencer mkIII off the top of my head.

There is also always the option of getting a white (or paining) a heatsink / shroud and you can get something like EVGA - Products - EVGA GTX 750 Ti Backplate - 100-BP-3751-B9 and painting it too

P.S, My build... Would love some custom Black and white sleeved cables for my PSU etc.

Those galaxy cards are all $$$... Maybe though, lol.

Looks sharp dzzope, I think I'm going to build it with a modular PSU, then once I've wired it, figure out which cables stand out and replace them with white sleeved ones. Probably just the main one and a couple others.

That's a lot like what mine will hopefully look like long term once I switch it over to watercooling. Aside from the gfx card I'm pretty set on what I want.. I'll likely just do a black gfx card w/ black pcb, and maybe a back plate like the one linked.

Ordered fractal r4 in white. Already have earthwatts 750w modular psu and 1tb caviar black. Most likely going to do i3 4150 and mb.

This cooler since it's white haha: http://www.ncix.com/detail/enermax-e...90160-1360.htm

Case is backordered so wont have it until around the 12th... in the meantime I'll prowl the BST for a video card.

The psu is semi modular, so the main atx cord doesn't come out. I'l going to re-sleeve that one. Then either buy white sleeved ones or re-sleeve the others.... But I don't think I have the patience for doing more than one.
