Default sub $1000 gaming build

I have a friend who games, and wants to record them up to crysis, he has $1k US , does nothing else. general PC usage . He has been quoted $994for a box that uses on board gfx. ( i am trying to convince him that's BS).
If you have a link to a generic intel, nvidia build that would be great. Or a decent bang for the buck fit.

I'm thinking @ least seasonic based psu-corsair >1600 mhz 8G ram,intel i5, ssd,cooler, mobo?,gfx?

"have a friend who games, and wants to record them up to crysis" - don't understand you mean he wants to make recordings while he games and have the fps stay at a smooth level?
Does he have to buy from a store or can he use the system builders on web sites like ncix?

994 for an onboard is rubbish. Especially if it isn't a top of the line APU and the best FM2+ mobo out there. He'll be so mad he wasted the money heh.

Intel Core i5-4670K, Asus GeForce GTX 760, NZXT Source 220 - System Build - PCPartPicker

Updated the build due to cheaper states prices.. It requires microcenter pick-up of the cpu for the price but there is a lil wiggle room.

If he wants to oc the cpu in the future, just drop in a cooler. Actually the CM Hyper 212 will probably JUST fit in the 1k budget.

And you can turn it into a steam box if you get a mitx case. DoD on a 60" 240Hz 3D tv would be fun lol.
