Default First time pcbuilder. Help with suggestions

Hi!
My 5 year old laptop is at the end of its life (can boil eggs on it after half an hour in use).

So, i want a gaming pc based on the Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Tri-X graphic card.

This is my order:

PSU: CORSAIR RM SERIES 850W GOLD MODULAR 80 PLUS GOLD

Is this an optimal setting for a gaming pc rig? Does this hardware go well together?

Hi! I'm only seeing your power supply there - screenshot not working - not sure if it's just me.

Yep basically like shadow said, if it's primarily for gaming then an I5 should be fine.

I'd change that SSD to 240GB or 256GB. 120 seems a bit small for boot + select games.

3-4 games max on a 120 and that's with barely any software on the OS side. Ya gotta tweak the OS to get space back too or you'll get 2-3 games tops.

While I think the estimates above are a bit on the low side (depends how big the games are, I average about 5-7 GB per game and that mans about 6 games for 120GB with a lil wiggle room)
But the advice is sound.. 240/256 GB is the sweet spot.. Crucial M500 are highly recommended around these parts.
