#1 is NCIX's stock label. No good for MIR's
#2 is what Gigabyte wants, the one with the serial number.

Default MOBO Fatal Error!!

My Motherboard came in the mail, I really like this Motherboard. it just goes with everything I got, Case & PSU. I like how it looks. $30 in-mail Rebate... Rebate, Rebate, Rebate *Frog*

I was done installing Windows. Then it shut off for some reason just before it loaded up desktop. I got a "Fatal Error: one or more table pointers are invalid. modification could be unsafe" just before Windows Loads up. WTF?? I just flashed the BIOS to the newer F7 replacing the older F5 version. Fatal Error Gone, Woohoo!

I'm all done & now using my new Computer. Now I'm going to try my Video cards out on it & see what results I get.

Looks good. Glad to heard a bios update solved your issue. Lets see the GPU in there!

Default CrossFire Not working!!

With the 2600K CPU, Top is R9 280X Crossfire, Mid is the GTX 760, Low is the GTX 550 Ti

Now with the i3 4330 CPU! GTX 760 & the R9 280X non-CF . Drum roll... HA, just kidding.

Blue is the super cool Intel HD Graphics 4600

....

For some reason Crossfire is not working, GPUz says Crossfire enabled. Yes, Crossfire is enabled in Catalyst Control Center. I tried installing drivers with one card, then 2 cards with no CF bridge & with CF bridge. Both cards are working independently like they don't want anything to do with each other. Both 280X's mine dat coin on the i3 CPU better, hashing at 768 kH/s each at 555 watts.

Could be game some aren't well optimized for Sli or Xfire could try other games or look for supported games list.

Default Mail Bag, XFX Double Dissipation.

Look what came in the mail yesterday... A XFX R9 290!

I should be happy, eh? Nope! Take a closer look at the box... Yeah, Stock sticker. It says R9 290X (R9-290X-EDFD) & the Video card I really got, Someone at NCIX must not like me. I got a XFX R9 290, non-X. (R9-290A-EDFD) I know they did this to get back at me for doing something, Price Matching good prices.

Yep!! it Says R9 290X

I sent them pictures, They didn't get back to me. They maybe think I'm ripping them off, No they Ripped me off!! Yeah, NCIX RIPPED ME OFF!! Never Shopping at NCIX ever AGAIN! You might say it was just a mix up, NOPE they don't like my price matches!

I'm assuming that you ordered and paid for a 290X? If that's the case, did you open a ticket? How about calling them (or setting up a call back)? How long has it been since you dropped them a line?

I'm sure it's a mistake, NCIX might not be perfect, but they're not a fly-by-night outfit that would be able to get away with this kind of stuff and still be in business.

I did everything, Paid for A R9 290X. Now that all the XFX 290X's are out of stock. I'm out a 290X & all I'm going to be left with is this 290. I'm sure they are going to leave me with this 290 & say sorry about the mix up here is the difference of the 290X, $90. That will be the end of it & my last purchase at NCIX.
