Look guys, I'm getting a 780, chances are I won't be able to get a titan/780ti for only $100 more, but I was wondering What CPU would run the more CPU intensive games better! Like will the I5 over take the I7 in gaming, and the I7 overtake the I5 in video editing, or will the I7 beet the I5 in both!?

The i7 shouldn't ever loose to the i5 in games...i don't recall seeing that happen since some i5 750/ i7 860 reviews .

The i5 / i7 are the same chip, the i7 just has the HT feature enabled.

Clock for clock they are the same speed and the i7 should either tie or beat the i5
