Looks pretty solid. A few comments. I would wait for AMD's new R9 290 and 290X to hit the market. If rumours of performance and price are true it should drop gtx770 prices. Not sure about the case/cooler (I will let someone else chime in on that for specifics), but I would stick to an air cooler around $25 unless you go to water around $75 or more...others are all about liquid cooled, and I am sure they can give you a recommendation at the price range.
Desktop: Arc Midi R2, Z77-D3H, 3770@4.1ghz with Zalman Optima Cooler, 4x4gb ram, EVGA GTX 1070 Ti SC, Bitfenix Fury 750w, WD Black 1TB, MX500 500gb
Away from home: Lenovo Legion Y530, 16gb, i7 8750H, GTX1050Ti

The Haf922 has been around for a while, and is starting to get pretty dated, I think. Lots of much nicer cases out there, IMO. IF you really love the specific looks of the 922, then so be it.

The H50 is a relatively low end watercooler that will be outclassed by a lot of $50 -$60 air coolers. Much better to go for an H80i at $80 right from the get go. It will give you much more potential for a decent overclock.

HTPC: Z77A-G45; 3770K; Zalman FX70; 2x4GB Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz; MSI GTX960; 2x 128GB Crucial M4 SSD; 4TB WD Red, 2x 2TB WD Green; Corsair RM650I; Corsair Carbide 600C;
Son's Rig: M5A97; FX8350; CNPS20LQ; 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz; Powercolor 7950; 250GB Crucial MX200; 320GB WD Black HDD; SPI 700W; Bitfenix Shinobi;

Check out the new NZXT case.. nice full tower for $90.. http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...rce-530-a.html
if you don't like that, shop around. There are better cases than the 922 at the same price-point though as said above, if it's the looks you like then so be it.

Why buy off the egg? Memory express and NCIX both offer a price-match service that could save you a reasonable amount.

Another nice Asus board to look at is Newegg.ca - ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Great overclocker and higher quality audio though no wifi etc... You'll be able to oc both without issue but have a look at the hero in the review section..
You could go a bit cheaper very easily and still be able to oc etc but is up to you for the features you want.

Personally I'm not a fan of corsair memory.. But thats just personal preference. Gskill are worth looking at as are Mushkin and a few others.
Look at different speeds, you don't necessarily need faster ram but if there is only a few bucks in the difference then why get the slower stuff.

Agree with the above on the cooler. Go air or go for the higher end AIO's.

Try double your SSD, My first was 120Gb and really annoying as I had to move stuff loads. also you don't really want to fill an ssd (or really any drive) as it will get slower.

Last but no means least.. 7970 is FAR superior value at the moment. $300~ (or less with MIR's) and free games as well. That or wait for the 290x and either get that or let it hit the nvidia prices as they are pretty far behind in the performance per dollar game.

Also something you MIGHT want to look into is MANTLE.. read more here: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...nt-thread.html
Read the review and the thread to get up to speed.
