My System Specs

Default 6yr old HX620W enough for new build?

Hey guys

Do you think the PSU can handle this setup?

Gigabyte G1.Sniper M3
3570k (OC to ~4.6Ghz)
Radeon 280x(OC as much as possible)
2x8GB DDR3
2HDDS, 1ODD, 1SSD, 6Fans

Thanks in advance

I would say use it as long as its spent most of its life in the <70% max load area. If it has been working hard for those years I would be inclined to grab a new PSU (ie: folding, constant 550+W load on it etc). That's my opinion as long as the voltages appear stable an acceptable. The safest answer is replace it, but I wouldn't (unless, like I said, its been a hard 6 years).

It's been holding a Q6600@3.6Ghz@1.45v for more or less 2 years. Other than that no significant loads

It shouldn't have a problem with those loads. Great psu but getting a bit old. Go ahead and use it but maybe consider upgrading in the next 6 months or so.

For the price of a decent corsair PSU these days(under 100$), over 5 years = replace for me.
