Usually 8 -15. Min is 6, with ts, skype, Steam, origin, possibly utorrent, sticky notes, some gadgets and the whatever game.

Granted I could cut much of that down. But this is the way I like using my pc. Whats the point in spending what we do if you can't.

I would keep everything but why not wait and get the 4770K, ROG board, GTX 780, 16 GB RAM (I have it and it is useful when you have a lot of things going in the background and gaming at the same time), and the money you save from not buying GTX 690 you can get yourself the Crucial M500 900GB SSD. Dun dun!

To the OP, get back to us with your current spec and what you intend to do with the rig and what resolution you will play at (and if it's 60hz or 120hz)

Till then there is no point in saying anything.

Nobody uses 6gb of ram in any system unless your encoding or virtualizing. Windows caches any unused memory which looks like your using it but your not.
