Bitfenix Prodigy+Titan or Fractal Node 304+Titan

I want to replace my large Full Tower with a mITX build thats even more powerful, here is my part list so far.

I have a OCZ Agility 3 240GB SSD for the OS, 3TB Seagate HDD, 2TB WD Black HDD for storage.

The Seasonic X series up to 850 definitely all all fit with not a mm to spare at the back of the power supply box.

think about more watts.

wedge22 April 21, 2013 08:06 PM

Why do I need so many watts to power so few devices though?

ZZLEE April 21, 2013 08:47 PM

Power supplys decay over time and become less stable. Lower watts than rated slower the decline.
My 850X the fan doesn't spin under most loads its like a passively cooled most of the time.

I was looking at the 750X but at he time i bought mine there was only a 20$ difference so I went big.

Pic ^ there is my system minus the Zotac 660 TI I have in it. If i diddn't have to put 1000$ dollars into my car I might have gone fore a TITAN.

He seriously doesn't need more that what he has chosen, even with a 5-10% loss over 5 years from the Capacitors.

Things are more efficent ZZLEE, not less.

How about CaseLabs Mercury S3? Has that been considered? It's the ultimate itx case imo but not sure if it's in the budget.

Oh nice case. Looks like a good alternative to Lian Li mITX cases for a mini PC. The size is just a tad bigger than Bitfenix Prodigy.

Prodigy is nice case fore price
after soft modding its an amazing case fore the cost.
