Default AMD FX-8350 Build

Hi, I'm looking to build an AMD gaming PC and would really appreciate your thoughts :3

Here is what I've been able to put together thus far: AMD FX-8350, Sapphire Radeon HD 7850, Cougar Volant (Black) - System Build - PCPartPicker

Additional Info as per the Sticky:

1.Used for : Gaming -high settings, 30 fps minimum; Light multitasking (music playing +web browsing <= 5 tabs)

2.Budget : $900-1000; Including: Shipping; Excluding:Tax

3.Country : United States

4.Brand Preference : AMD-Fanboy for the processor only(no preference for their Graphics cards)

5. Current Part Use : Viewsonic VX2753MH-LED 27-Inch, E-3LUE Cobra Wired Gaming Keyboard & Mouse, Windows 7 Home Premium retail version., optical disc drive(DVD)

6. Prior Thread Search Conclusions : Sabertooth Motherboards are slightly overpriced

7. Overclock : No intent to overclock; but advice in this regard is welcome...

8. WHEN : I intend to buy the parts on the 15th (Friday)

9. Resolution : 1080p, medium to high graphics(higher is a plus), don't care about PhysX/TressX as they are not vital to gameplay...

10. Are there any specific technologies you want? DDR3 at >1600 with a CAS of <=9

Do you have a current hard drive that you could use for storage? if you do I would advise a SSD over that raptor drive. 120-256GB depending on your budget(intel or samsung are both good). Maybe consider an after market cooler as well. If you are open to light OCing you can get every 8350 to 4.5-4.6Ghz with an a decent cooler. I doubt you would even need to raise the voltage on 4.6Ghz.

Don't have a spare hard drive at the moment, will price a HDD + SSD combo though. Also for the after market cooler would you recommend Water or Air cooling?
Thanks for the advice :)

To keep your budget envelope I would say a

Samsung 840 pro 128GB for $145ish
Seagate 2TB $90
A Noctua NH-D14(if these go on sale for 50-60 nothing else touches them for that price)
OR
H80i $99

Only get these coolers if you are going to overclock though, they are a waste otherwise. You can get good coolers for $15-20 that will be more silent then the stock cooler that comes with the AMD.

The seagate is because its cheap right now, there might be a better storage drive out there but I think that's the most squeeze for your $ that you are going to get and keep you at $1K

Was able to find that SSD for $130, so that's exactly in budget. Thanks for all the help!

My System Specs

If you're not overclocking stick with the stock fan. I got mine to run completely silent by just having good positive pressure in my case.

Oh yeah, it's silent AND I run 3x6950
