My System Specs

Default building my new gaming pc

1. The PC will be used for: MMO Gaming and general pc use

2. My budget is: $1200+

3. I will be buying the parts from: in America, from Newegg, Tiger Direct/ Compusa and Microcenter

4. My brand preference is: Intel, Nvidia

5. Do I intend on using any current parts, and if so, what those parts are: No, All parts will be purchased new and unopened

6. If I have searched and/or read similar threads: I have read multiple threads concerning PC building over the last several months

7. If I plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds: I plan on building it using default speeds and will not be overclocking as of yet

8. When do I plan to build it? parts are being purchased this weekend

9. What resolution and settings do you use? Since it is going to be used for moderate MMO Gaming, I'd like it to be able to play WoW and other games at high to max settings. I will be playing at 1920/1080 resolution

10. Are there any specific technologies you want? SATA3 6.0Gb/s, USB 3.0 support

Intel Core i5-3570k Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe motherboard

Memory: Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory

Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti+ 2GB

Optical Drive: ASUS Blu-ray drive

Hard Drive 1: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (more than enough storage space for me)

Power Supply: SILVERSTONE ST65F-G 650W 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply (i prefer modular PSU's) with short psu cables

CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo using arctic silver 5 thermal paste

PC Case: Bitfenix Prodigy (black version) with additional front mounted 200mm spectre pro fan

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Since it has been a very long time since I have built a pc ( built my last pc about 20 yrs ago) I was having a question on how I would utilize all 4 fans that will be used in the case (the heatsink fan, the front mounted 200mm spectre pro fan and the 2 stock 120mm fans (one used as exhaust and the other used as an additional intake). I do know I will need to buy some kind of fan splitter since my motherboard only has 2 fan connectors but I am unsure as to what type of splitters I should buy. Any help would be appreciated

Make sure the board fits the prodigy. Try sqeeze in an ssd either by getting a cheaper board, etc, finding better prices and price matching, dropping the blu ray.

Other than these suggestions it looks good.
