Lucky them. When i was in cadets when we flew glinders, they basically told us all the controls, took us up to 2000 feet over abbotsford international and handed us the controls.

One comment - I've had nothing but trouble with older games (older as in 2011) including MS FSX on the Win8 side of my dual boot machine. Go Win7 if you can and avoid that headache.

I've noticed several vendors have had A10's & Mobo combo's on sale so do check out all vendor's before you order. If you are in Canada Memory Express will ship everything for one price of $4.99 via Canada Post and they not only match other vendor's prices, but give you an additional 10% off to price so price it out at the best price and then get another 10% off if Mem-Express is not the lowest. BTW I have no interest in Mem-Express and was not paid for this endorsement. .... :)

Also, looking at the specs supplied above add an Active Displayport Adaptor to run three screens. 3X 24 would be grand, I have 20" models and paid $89 each for them at The Source for LG LED screens. I have one 24 inch in the middle and the two side screens are 20's. For flight training if you are pinching pennies going with 20" models would save you over $300. To be honest, if you pull the 20" screens to about 12" from the front of your desk, they do take up you full field of vision and I think would be jim-dandy, especially if they are being compared to an old Laptop.

I gave them a list pretty similiar to what GBA listed above....Win7 instead, as that is what they prefer, and a regular hard drive in place of the ssd (I did give them a list with an ssd) Now they have to find the funds to put this thing together. If they take too long they might not have a choice which operating system they go with though.
