I know prices are generally higher in EU after exchange but these prices are much higher before exchange... Have you looked around at different sites for some deals?

xfx seem to be about the best value for PSU's this side of the pond..
also unless your really set on the 912, I'd go cheaper on the case (not very good for the price we get them at)
Bifinx do some very good cheaper cases that are better quality IMO.
also drop the cpu cooler.. stock is fine as it's a cool running chip and no ocing for her

With the savings you can bump the GPU / CPU or drop in a SSD

For a budget build, a $90 80Plus Gold rated PSU is a bit overkill. In the 500W range, there are some cheaper, solid options. I'd be keen on saving around $30 in this area, stretching the wallet a bit and snagging a 660 Ti, at least if your sister is at 1920x1080 or above.

I would not skimp out on the PSU the one you've chosen is an excellent choice.
I would seriously consider a FX-8350 CPU and 990 chipset board. These are great for game budget builds.

He doesn't have to skimp on the PSU to save money. For example, the Corsair TX550M and XFX PRO650W are both excellent PSUs and come in at ~$70 before rebate. Then again, those may not be options in Europe.

Depending where you are in France it could be very worth your while checking out Austrian stores.. I believe they have better tax..
Though it's a loooong time since I was talking to a friend about where is good to buy from in western Europe (outside of UK/Ire)

hardwareversand.de has pretty decent prices (for Europe).. Main thing is to shop around.

xfx PSU's are definitely available in the UK and should be between the Corsair CX and TX in price.

Vôtre choix n'est pas pire pour votre soeur, mais vous pouvez économiser encore par remplacer le processeur d'Intel pour un AMD la seule chose c'est changer le système refroidissement qui vient avec le processeur pour quelque chose plus solide, ça coûte environ 20$ de plus ou 12 euros environ. J'hésite par contre si tu devrais changer la carte graphique aussi ou non car les cartes avec ATI sont moins cher pour une belle performance mais la consommation d'énergie est généralement plus grand. Si t'as des questions n'hésite pas à me communiquer. Merci

Merci,mais en fait,je suis plus habitué à Nvidia parce que je trouve qu'elles sont plus optimisées et les pilotes beugent moins.C'est personnel...

my sister plays around 720p,small monitor (she does not like big monitors).

I checked other websites,this one is probably the cheapest,or one of the cheapest,i think,it's more convenient to order from there,quick transporter,etc...Others are just a bit cheaper. (this PSU was 100$ only)
