New Build Thoughts??

This is my first time building a PC and this is what i got so far, what do you think?

CPU- intel CPU core i7 3770 - LGA 1155
motherboard- Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H intel Motherboard - LGA 1155
HHD- Western Digital Caviar GREEN 1TB
RAM- Corsair DDR3 8GB (2x Vengeance 4GB) 1600MHz CL9
PSU- Thermaltake Litepower 700w
Graphics card- Asus nVidia GTX 660 2GB DCII
Case- NXZT Phantom Series

This came a little over budget so if any one could tell me some ways i could save some cash would be awesome. Also will these parts fit in a mid tower case because that would save me alot of money.

You don't need such a case, you can get a 60 dollar case,i don't know much cases for this price but i'm pretty sure some are better than the phantom,it's all about cooling...pick one that has everything you need and save 50 bucks.

Also...save yourself 80-90 bucks and get the 3570K instead of non-K version of the 3770. Only dif between the i5 and i7 is HyperThreading. Push the 3570K to 4.2 (or more) and you will be laughing. Take 25 of the 90 bucks savings and get a CM 212+ or 212 Hyper. MUCH better than stock cooling and will be more than enough for mild OC like 4.2. :)

Move down to a i5 3570, Corsair 200R case, 600W PSU, motherboard with less feature but try to move up to a 660TI GPU. What exactly are you doing with your PC? If you're just gaming, no point in using an i7.

What will you use the computer for? What is your budget?

I can give suggestions after that info, but my first points are that I would swap to a better quality power supply (a quality 520-650w psu is plenty), and if you don't have an SSD I would change the hard drive to a WD black. If you are mainly gaming I would also back up the suggestion to go to a i5 3570k.
