I dont mean to harass at all, but how are you getting 32C @ load with that thing? I highly doubt it. Is it overclocked? Even if it is or isn't I really want to see screenshots or proof. Once again, im not trying to just insult here. Secondly, please please, do some cable management :(. Such a high end pc, but such horrible cable management :(

And the cable management isn't my fault. Company setted it up.
I don't know alot about that so I can't do it.

Download a program called prime 95 and stress
test your system for us and show us a screen shot of your temps from say a program like realtemp, after say 1 hr of testing

Shouldn't need an hour. It's not a water loop, 5 - 10 mins stressing the cpu should be enough to show load temps on an air cooler.

On the cables.. Unplug 1, route it through the back of the motherboard tray and then back to where you unplugged it.
You will have to cut the cable-ties though as that big bunch won't allow you to get the panel back on.
Do them all so they are the same as your 8 pin connector at the top of the first picture. (but obviously coming out close to where they are currently plugged in)

Great rig, needs some work. Nothing major, just some work. People that have said about the wire management were correct. Should be super easy, just pull wires in the exact order one at a time and replace them going through the grommets. will look 100% better. Absolute minimum is to use black zip ties. I would have lost it with those honking ugly clear ones after the money you spent.


I have heard that the 3970 runs pretty cool. I would love to see idle and load temps in a Prime95 Version 27 w/ AVX enabled. That just whips X79 rigs.

if I had $4000 to spend on a PC, I would've went with 2 GTX 680's and 32GB RAM :P (along with a H110 watercooler if i could squeeze it in that budget)
