AMD 8 core what do you think
 

A buddy of mine wants a new computer what do you peeps think about this little gem. Case is not for sure but cpu and mobo are.

Nothing wrong at all with that build. I think that the 8 core vishera chips are a decent price. What will your friend be using it for?

video editing. and watching internet tv.

I think the FX-8350 is comparable to a 2600k when all 8 threads are in use for editing. Should be a pretty good value build for video editing/ripping/encoding.

vishera is a great video editing CPU. the only other real option is the 3930K at 3 times the price.

Why the h100i. An antec 620 should be fine at have the price. Maybe the extra $50 can go towards better gpu.

I recently built a VM for Linux encoding, if your buddy's tools have Linux versions they are insainly faster with the 8350 then with Windows.

The H100i is a solid unit if he is going to overclock, if not a cheaper cooler will perform just as well.

Why the Sabertooth? Go with the M5A97 and save $70. It's a decent mid-range board that still has most of the features and overclocking capability of it's bigger brother.
