Need help on new high end desktop build

I will have to verify but from what I remeber reading is that they added sata 6 and USB 3 to the new shipments of the 800D. But I will double check that. I have looked at alot of other case and I just the fell in love with the 800D. I did not realize if had only a few 3.5 hard slots. But I love the idea of having that many hot swap bays. Also thanks for the heads up on the adapters for the ssd's. I may have to hold off on the 3tb green backups as I realized I dont have an OS to install

Oh that's good to hear, as I'm also considering an 800D for when I do a total platform change on my main rig. You can't lock the bay door or the bay's themselves by the way so as I said before, best to keep curious pets and kids away from the machine. Also if you are running the H100i's fans in pull, you may want to consider picking up to 3 120mm fan filters for the top fan mounts so you can keep as much dust out of the H100i's rad as possible since I don't think the top mounts have any filters.

Checked with NCIX and the 800D's now come with USB3.0 and Sata6. But the box will still say USB2.

Sounds good, just add a couple of fan filters to keep dust out of the H100i's Rad (maybe a 3rd once your ready for custom water cooling) and your be golden

You'll want to plan on WC your GPU's as well if your going for the 800D as they are not a very good Case at all for Air Cooling, specifically designed for WC.
I only mention this as I believe your planning Multi GPU arrangement.
