My System Specs

AMD FX-8320, Asus Radeon HD 7950, Corsair 200R - System Build - PCPartPicker Canada

I replaced the FX6100 with the 8320. The new Vishera CPU's demonstrate a marked improvement in performance over the old Zambezi's. I also replaced the 670 with the 7950. The 670 is a VERY expensive video card. A 7950 is $50 less expensive, gives you 95% of the performance, and comes with 3 free games.

Then, since you're not running an Nvidia card, you don't need the '99 chipset, you can make do with the '97 chipset. I replaced the M5A99evo with the M5A97. It's still a beauty overclocker, the only drawback is you can't run SLI with it, only Xfire.

HTPC: Z77A-G45; 3770K; Zalman FX70; 2x4GB Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz; MSI GTX960; 2x 128GB Crucial M4 SSD; 4TB WD Red, 2x 2TB WD Green; Corsair RM650I; Corsair Carbide 600C;
Son's Rig: M5A97; FX8350; CNPS20LQ; 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz; Powercolor 7950; 250GB Crucial MX200; 320GB WD Black HDD; SPI 700W; Bitfenix Shinobi;
