Smile Harddisk Connectors... (Its a Bit Urgent)

Hey everyone....

Well a friend of mine is upgrading his system and he has a harddisk "seagate st3400 15a" which he likes to keep and he is going to buy a new power supply "Corsair Enthusiast Series™ TX650 V2" .. will this power supply be able to provide connection to that hard disk??? cuz his hard disk's connectors are some kind of pins.. and mine are some kind of l shaped connector???

Thanks... ^_^

It might work since molex connectors are still the norm but not IDE. If your friend's PC is new, not older than 5 years, his motherboard will most likely not have an IDE port. If his motherboard doesn't have an IDE port, get this.

Yes, Enaberif is correct, Spend the extra ~$70-$120 and get a new much larger drive and just transfer the data over. That way you're not having to screw around with converters and worn out equipment getting in the way of performance.
