Talking Planning New Build

New build will be used for gaming, video editing and photoshop use.
Looking at spending between $3000 and $3500.

I'm in Australia so that's AUD and most likely will buy my parts locally.

Brands don't bother me but I am looking towards a Intel and nVidia build.

Hopefully looking to build this in the next few weeks.
I have a rough setup already thought up, so would just like some opinions and feedback from anyone's personal experiences with these products, also up for any suggestions to different parts and options.

Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D
Motherboard: ASUS Rampage IV Formula
CPU: i7 3930k
Graphics: 2x ASUS GTX 680 DirectCU II OC
SSD: 2x Samsung 830 Series 128GB
RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z 2133MHz
PSU: Corsair AX1200
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100
DVD Drive: LG 24x Burner.

That's what i have roughly priced up at around $3400 AUD.

And I don't need any storage drives as I have all my files on external drives.

Thank you for any opinions you may have.

Personally I'm a huge fan of AMD, especially with the new drivers boosting performance about 15-20%. But I can say that those CUDA nVidia cards are supposed to awesome for photoshop.

I do have a question for ya, I'm always interested in what makes people choose their cases. What made you choose the Corsair 650D? I'm in a toss up between the Fractal Design Define XL and that case you are choosing.

Does 2 video card actually make a difference in video editing and photoshop? Do they even recognize SLI? As for the RAM, I would move up to 32GB since you're using that type of software. Personally, I would toss that LG burner as I had nothing but bad experience with them.
