nope, all good, like I said on the other thread, for the SSD a 120-128GB Intel or Crucial SSD.

Whelp, I went ahead and bought the pieces as mentioned, except for two changes. That MB with the free memory expired, so I got the MSI Z77A-G43 instead, with a combo deal for the CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB. I also snagged a 128GB SSD, oh, and I had to add a DVD player because my old one is IDE, but that was just like $7 more.

Thanks again for all the help. The computer is built and running pretty nice. I'm just putting the tweaks onto my OS. Here were the final specs:

Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower
Intel Core i3-3225 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz
MSI Z77A-G43
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)
LG DVD Burner Model GH24NS90 - OEM
Kingston HyperX 3K SH103S3/120G SSD
Antec VP-450 450W
500GB WD HDD (from old computer)
Dual booted with Windows 7 and Linux Mint 13

nice recycle of HDD. thats always the deal breaker in my sub $500 builds.

Thanks. Yeah, I actually could have come in under $400 if I skipped the SSD, but it was too big a performance jump not to take. Boot up is like 15 seconds.

The other thing that would have sunk me was Win7. Had the update disk from my college though for only $7, so that saved me.
