Default Gaming Rig and Editing

Hi guys! Im planning to build a gaming rig and at the same time can be use for heavy photoshop editing and rendering After Effects compositions. Also I've been a mac user for almost 10 years now, so im outdated on the latest PC tech.

Here's my spec:
Asus Maximus V Formula Thunder FX
Intel i7-3770K
EVGA GTX 670 FTW
Corsair Professional Series AX650
Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 18600mhz 16GB
Corsair H100
Intel SSD 330 Series 180GB
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 64MB SATA3
Corsair Obsidian 650D

or this one:
ASRock Z77 Extreme 6
Intel i7-3770K
EVGA GTX 670 FTW
Corsair Professional Series AX650
GSkill RIPJAWSZ 16GB DDR 1866
Corsair H100
Intel SSD 330 Series 180GB
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 64MB SATA3
Corsair Obsidian 650D

As for the ram modules i have no idea on what to get. should i get the 2400mhz rams or should i be sticking with 1866. also im reading abount timings/latency whatever its called so i don't know what kind of rams should i get.

one more thing can i do a push/pull configuration on both setups?

Thanks!

My System Specs

Default

Max memory speed accepted by default by the chipset is 1600MHz, so I would take a kit that would do that at the tightest timings, that means 7. As for cooling I don't think you can do push pull with the H100. I have seen a review where the Thermaltake counterpart of the H100 was shown to be better, but I don't know how it would fit on a Corsair case, while the H100 would be 100% compatible with the chosen case. But as for priimary storage I would go with an OCZ RevoDrive. Sticking with the Asrock mobo would give you the money difference to go with the RevoDrive.
