I would also go with a 670. 480 are too noisy and power hungry IMO. Otherwise the build looks good. Congrats and enjoy.

The 480, or-- as I liked to call it when I had it-- "the abomination," is quite an unfortunate creation of a card with its immense power draw and consequent noise. Since you're watercooling and have already bought a 1000w PSU, the criticisms against it are more or less mitigated in your case, but for any other standard build, it is VERY hard to recommend the card.

So, in my opinion, it really just comes down to budget. Is selling the 480 to put toward a 670 not too much of a loss vs. adding another 480? Then I would suggest it. If it is too much of a loss/hassle, then SLI those mofos, and everyone else's opinion be damned.

(I'm kinda curious what your power bill would be like though...)

Hmm... yea, I can drop the power draw and heat to some extent. But then what's the point of the SLI right? I can probably sell the 480 for ~ 150 if I get lucky. I can buy one for ~215 shipped taxes in. Total expense would be.. 360.. NCIX has gtx 670s on for 349.99+tax and shipping. Total cost would be around 423 (30 dollar MiB on 379.99). The cost difference isn't all that much. You have me thinking.
